Dr. Pelberg graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he graduated as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar. He then earned his MD degree from Northwestern University Medical School where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. His fellowship in cardiovascular diseases was completed at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. At Virginia, Dr. Pelberg extensively trained in general consultative cardiology, cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology, while publishing multiple cardiovascular research articles and book chapters. Before coming to Ohio, Dr. Pelberg was in practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. Dr. Pelberg is Board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. Dr. Pelberg is also level III certified in cardiac computed tomographic angiography (Cardiac CTA). Dr. Pelberg is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He has authored the book the Cardiac CT Angiography Manual.
