Before joining The Ohio Heart & Vascular Center in 2002, he was in private practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. Since coming to Ohio, his professional reputation has soared. Recently he was selected to the 2009/2010 “Who’s Who among Executives and Professionals in the field of Research, Medicine, and Healthcare.”

He has authored the Cardiac CT Angiography Manual (Springer 2007), which has also been translated into Chinese and distributed in China. He has just finished his second book, “Vascular CT Angiography Manual,” in which he focused on vascular imaging. Dr. Pelberg has also published many peer reviewed research articles in major cardiovascular journals .

Dr. Pelberg and his wife have three young sons. He appreciates time with his family by playing softball, chess and cards.

To Dr. Pelberg, cardiology is the perfect mix of technology, procedural medicine and the kind of long term care that allows a physician to build long-term relationships with his patients. He emphasizes that these relationships are the most rewarding aspects of his job.
In his words, “I love the intellectual aspect of cardiology. I love the social aspect of cardiology. I love working with people and enjoy the satisfaction of watching my patients live longer and better lives.”
